Heritage Matters is your solution to a range of heritage issues.
I founded Heritage Matters in 2007, after spending a third of a century in local government, specialising in archaeology, museums and heritage protection. During that time I had been responsible for the archaeology of Gloucester (one of England’s top ten archaeological urban areas) from all angles, followed by heritage issues generally and then strategic cultural matters. I am professionally qualified as a museum curator and as an archaeologist, and I led work on major projects including a Heritage Lottery Fund bid, rewriting archaeology planning policies, and displaying and interpreting monuments in the city.
I have web-design experience, including developing a site for Gloucester’s Culture, Learning and Leisure, and working as part of the team which developed both the Council’s full Internet site and its Intranet site.
In this site you will find just some of the areas in which I can help you to maximise the heritage assets in your care. Browse using the buttons on the left.
